associate artists
D6’s Associate Artist is a group of visual artists and practitioners joining us in an expanded capacity to help influence our programme and suggest new directions of research.
For 2023 to 2025, we have have brought together Dawn Felica Knox, Amak Mahmoodian and Lucy Nychai to interrogate what we are doing and what we should be doing, to enter into honest discussions and actions that are mutually beneficial in our shared professional development, emotional wellbeing and connectivity as artists and producers. This group will meet several times a year for critical discussion and reflections, to give us a range of different perspectives and insights on how to develop our projects.
We'd also like to warmly thank our Associate Artists, 2020-2022, who so generously gave us their time and expertise over the challenging period of the Covid pandemic: Nicola Singh, Akeelah Bertram, Dominic Smith, Dima Karout, Degna Stone, and Henna Asikainen.
