We develop projects with rigour, care and generosity, creating spaces to enable a deeper understanding of multiple lived experiences and perspectives.

Residencies

In our central Newcastle studios we regularly host artists in residence.  We support artists whose practice aligns with our values and interests and through partnership projects and open calls.

Knowledge Sharing and networks

We believe in the value of collaboration and building networks to promote artistic and community exchange across borders. Nationally and internationally we are members of networks, and share our knowledge of managing transnational projects, application processes and developing networks with other organisations.

collaborative doctoral AWARD

D6 and Northumbria University are working with Dawn Felicia Knox who has been awarded a Collaborative Doctoral Award. Supported by the Northern Bridge Consortium,  the PhD will focus on colonialism, climate crisis and mass human migration through decolonial processes of curation.

HIRE

Our beautiful event and meeting room in the heart of Newcastle is available to hire; and we also have  a wide range of digital equipment, tailored to artists and creative professionals.
