Artistic Productions

We co-produced a number of artistic commissions for CORNERS, developed with the four UK-based artists we selected to take part in the CORNERS of Europe programme, joining a group of over 50 creative professionals from across Europe. Our artists joined the CORNERS Xpedition to Puglia in Southern Italy in December 2014 and the North East England Xpedition in March 2015, where they developed their proposals for international co-productions for future European touring and presentation with other CORNERS artists from our partner organisations:

Oh my Home - Lost and Found

An installation of woven bags commonly used by those in transit and short performances that ask us to reflect on and re-define the meaning of the word ‘home’. >>

Bridging the silence

Bridging the Silence was a visual and sound installation that took inspiration from the emotions and inner journeys experienced by people around Europe. >>
​Local residents of each location were presented with a series of questions on various topics, tailored to the specific area and discussed through a workshop process. Dance and theatre pieces reacted the the local residents participation. >>
