As Expert for Pilot Cities and Culture Action Europe, and director of D6, Clymene was asked to speak at Culture 2030 about her experience. The 4 day event in Elefsina aimed to create space for discussions about the sustainable development of culture in Greek cities over the next ten years, bringing together artists, cultural professionals, and local and regional cultural stakeholders to debate cultural policy and artistic practises.
The session Cities' Cultural Co-operation Networks examined the role of independent cultural institutions within the frame work of increasing and improving cities' cultural activity. By creating networks between organisations with common values, capacity building and programmes of artistic activity can be strengthened, and sustainable models of local, regional and European artistic working can be developed.
