catrina ure

Catrina Ure is working with D6 as part of her 3 year doctoral research into audience-led critical measures of value, needs and agency in art & design. Whilst she is with us she will work with us to understand how we can best evaluate our projects, particularly for participants.

After graduating in Psychology from the University of Sheffield, she worked for many years in the telecoms, media, technology and charity sectors leading customer insight teams for companies like BT, Microsoft, the Financial Times, and CRUK.  She will be bringing her knowledge of interdisciplinary techniques to the art and design world and is experienced in quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

She is an industry expert, and experienced conference speaker, has won industry awards, and has had articles published.

We are working with Catrina in partnership with Northern Bridge Doctoral Training Partnership (NBDTP), Northumbria-Sunderland Consortium in Art and Design (N-SC) and the Open Data Institute.
