We worked transnationally for over 20 years, and frequently supported the sector in developing international programmes. With the Creative Europe Desk UK we shared our wealth of expertise in devising, developing and running successful collaborative European projects with the cultural sector.
In September 2018, D6 were invited to take part in a panel discussion at the Barbican as part of CONNECT! Creative Europe Desk UK Forum on the Value of Networks, to share our thoughts on the importance of networks. The event discussed how cooperative working between organisations can strengthen ideas, effect change, and why these international connections are vital for our sector, particularly within today’s political climate.
Clymene shared her expertise with UK organisations at the Creative Europe Culture Infomation Seminar, at Dance City in May 2018. The seminar gave organisations interested in developing a programme with European partners guidance on what makes a strong international project, and helped to develop their skills in running joint initiatives.
