Volt Agapeyev

Volt is a multidisciplinary artist, born in 1989 in Ternopil and based in Kyiv. Most often he works with graphics, media art and graffiti. In his works, the artist draws attention to the process of amorphisation of the boundaries between human consciousness, technology and nature.  He  is one of the artists taking part in (Re)Grounding 2024 with a virtual residency with our partner IZOLYATSIA, which will be follow with his artworks being presented in the (Re)Grounding online exhibition. 

He has participated in numerous exhibitions and residency programmes in Ukraine and abroad. His works are represented in private collections and can be found in public spaces in Austria, Slovakia, Germany among others.

In 2012, he graduated from Ternopil National Pedagogical University. He received additional education at the New Art School in 2013 and at the School of Visual Communication in 2016.
