culture action europe

The UK Hub
This is a sector led space to share UK/EU cultural agendas and is open to members of Culture Action Europe (CAE) and the members of the transnational cultural networks (and guests) that make up the wider CAE family. We are a dynamic group of cross sectoral international producers, practitioners, policymakers and academics navigating today’s European and international relations.

The UK Hub is one of a number of country hubs, with the UK forming a satellite with Northern European countries and having biennial satellite meetings.

This UK Hub is not formally constituted but aims to provide a sector led space for international conversations with a focus on strengthening EU/UK cultural relations. It is open to CAE members and members of other European cultural networks that make up the wider CAE family.  Co-ordination of the hub is currently led by D6's Director Clymene Christoforou.

More about Culture Action Europe
CAE is the major European network that brings together members and strategic partners from across all areas of the culture sector. It is unique as the only inter-sectoral network, with its nearly 300 members including cultural networks, organisations, artists, activists, academics and policymakers. CAE is a platform for informed opinion and debate about arts and cultural policy, and sees culture as fundamental to the future. It is funded by its members and receives support from the European Union among others.

If you are interested in joining CAE, you can find out more here.

Keeping in touch
We have a UK Hub page on the CAE website and are working towards building a shared online resource. We hold quarterly meetings online.
